Vietnam Wall
Going with the old saying of "If the mountain won't come to Mohammed, then Mohammed will go to the mountain", we are bringing the largest replica Vietnam Wall to the Wiregrass as the kickoff for the Wiregrass Honor Flight Program which will fly veterans to Washington DC to the the Wall there as well as other places.
Basic Agenda for the Week of the Wall
Wednesday: Sept. 6
111 mile Escort bringing the Wall from Montgomery to the Fairgrounds starting at 11:00 and arriving app. 2-3:00.
Jump in where you can!! How many times will you get to ride in a "Parade" that goes 111 miles!?!?!
Thursday: Sept. 7
Wall open to the Public - FREE to attend - 8:00 am - 10:00 pm
Opening Ceremony - 5:00 at Amphitheater
USO Style Show - 6:30 featuring the Dothan Moonlighters, "Elvis", and more
Lo-noise Fireworks after the Show - app. 8:30
Friday: Sept. 8
Wall open to the Public - FREE to attend - 8:00 am - 10:00 pm
School Day - students encouraged to attend. Extra Guides on duty to help show the exhibits from 10 - 5
Saturday: Sept. 9
Family Day - Wall open to the Public - FREE to attend - 8:00 am - 10:00 pm
5K Ruck For the Wall - 7:30 check-in, 8:00 start

Stating and ending at the Wall. A chance to Ruck a 5K, or just walk it and enjoy the morning while helping support a great cause!

Ride For the Wall Convoy
A convoy leaving from the Harley Shop at 10:00 and making pickups in Ozark, Troy, and Montgomery.
School Day
Friday, Sept. 8th, bring the kids. Everybody learn! Extra Guides will be on hand. See a Huey from the Vietnam War.
